Summer is kayaks off your own dock on Lake Sinca and dinner on the deck. Winter is ski days at Jack Frost, 5 minutes away, then the hot tub and barrel sauna under the pines. Rainy day? Popcorn and a movie in your private theater. Bliss by the Lake is a 4,000 sq ft lakefront chalet with modern style and log-cabin warmth: 8 bedrooms, 5 full baths, room for 20 and a dining table for 12. Pets are welcome, too, and every booking includes the Bliss Local Guide powered by Yelp.

The space
Picture a summer evening on Lake Sinca. The sun is sinking behind the trees across the water, someone is paddling the tandem kayak back to your private dock, and up at the house the fire pit is crackling and the hot tub is steaming. Inside, the popcorn machine is warming up for movie night.

That's an ordinary day at Bliss by the Lake. It's 4,000 square feet of chalet that balances a modern look with real log-cabin warmth, with soaring 25-foot tongue-and-groove ceilings, chalet windows facing the water, West Elm furnishings and a flexible layout built for big groups, so no one ever feels crowded.

Morning
Watch the sun rise over the glistening lake through the chalet windows or out on the deck, a hot cup of coffee in hand. Yes, we provide the coffee: the deluxe coffee station is stocked and ready. Then grab one of our 5 cruiser bikes and tour the beauty of the Poconos.

Afternoon
Follow the charming path through the trees, over the little footbridge and down to your new private dock. Launch the kayaks (1 tandem and 2 singles) and explore the lake, or stretch out on the dock loungers and soak up the view. Back at the house, there's a huge backyard with lawn games and hammocks overlooking the lake, and across the water the community area has a sandy beach, a playground and a giant gazebo with picnic tables.

Evening
Fire up the grill and gather around the deck for cocktails and dining al fresco, with the fire table glowing as the light fades. Or cook a proper feast in the chef's kitchen, a modern, fully equipped space with stainless-steel appliances and everything you need to entertain. There's bar seating for 4, an eat-in table for 8 and a grand dining table for 12, so everyone sits down together. If you're looking for the place to host this year's holiday, this is it.

Night
Four separate entertaining spaces mean the night can go in every direction at once. The living room has big, comfy sofas. The loft has a PlayStation 4 and a stack of board games. The chic lake-level lounge has shuffleboard, darts, reading nooks and a cocktail station with a speakeasy recipe book. And your very own movie theater has a giant screen, surround sound, a retro popcorn machine and a candy corner. Roku-enabled smart TVs in the living room, theater, lounge and loft are ready for movies, karaoke or your favorite playlist. Then finish the night in the hot tub, in the barrel sauna or around the fire pit roasting marshmallows.
The bedrooms have no TVs, on purpose. Bliss is about time together, and those rooms are for a great night's sleep.

Both are open year-round. Fall brings sunsets over the lake and fire-pit nights, and when it rains, the movie theater is calling.

Bliss by the Lake is a year-round destination for a fun yet relaxing and serene getaway close to outdoor adventure, where family and friends spend quality time and make memories together. We're in a peaceful lake community, so think laughter and late-night card games rather than loud music. If you're planning a party, a late-night event or a boisterous gathering, another host will be a better fit. Our full house rules are under "Other things to note."

Guest access
The whole place is yours: the chalet, the private dock and kayaks, the hot tub, electric barrel sauna, fire pit, deck with grill and fire table, hammocks, backyard lawn games, cruiser bikes and the movie theater.

Arriving
Check-in is after 4 PM and checkout is before 11 AM. Check yourself in with the door keypad. Every vehicle needs to fit in our driveway, leaving a clear path for the garbage company to reach the trash enclosure, so please don't park on the community streets. We can usually fit about 10-12 vehicles, depending on their size, so reach out if you have questions.

The lake
Launch the kayaks right from our new private dock on Lake Sinca. The life vests we provide are required whenever you're on the dock or in a kayak. The lake water is tested constantly, and once in a while the community may close the lake unexpectedly to protect residents and guests. Across the lake, the community area with the sandy beach, playground and giant gazebo with picnic tables is yours to enjoy too.

Charging up
The Level 2 EV charger is ready for you (bring your Tesla adapter), and there's a Tesla Supercharger 2 minutes away.

Security
Two exterior security cameras, one covering the front entrance and parking area and one covering the backyard, both with motion-activated lights for your safety.

Other things to note
Booking details
The guest who books must be 25 or older and stay for the whole trip, from check-in through check-out. Our rates are set by dynamic pricing software that follows real-time demand in the area, so prices can move. If you love the dates, book soon to lock in today's rate.

Staying a week?
Stays of 7 nights or more get a discount. If you later shorten your trip to 6 nights or fewer, the discount drops off and the total can end up higher than the longer stay. We can't pro-rate it for shorter stays, so plan with that in mind.

What we stock, and what to pack
You'll find a weekend's worth of supplies: 20 bath towels, a hand towel and makeup towel in each bathroom, 10 jumbo toilet paper rolls, 2 paper towel rolls, 8 dishwasher pods, 7 laundry pods and 10 kitchen trash bags. Please pack washcloths, beach towels and firewood for the fire pit. Ahart's Market is just a 3-minute drive for bigger groups or longer stays. If the grill's propane runs low, refill it locally, send us the receipt and we'll happily pay you back.

Good to know
The home has a standard residential water heater: it handles about 5 hot showers back-to-back, then needs about 30 minutes to catch up, so stagger showers and everyone stays warm. The home is spread over several levels, so expect stairs. Commercial photography and filming aren't allowed unless we've agreed to it in writing before you book.

House rules
We're a peaceful lake community, and these rules keep it that way for you and for our neighbors. They're firm, and we appreciate you honoring them.
•  Quiet hours are 9 PM to 9 AM, and we ask for low noise at all other times too.
•  Each noise complaint carries a fine of $500 or more. After a second complaint, guests must leave the property immediately.
•  No parties or events. That includes prom parties: requests for one will be blocked and reported to Airbnb.
•  No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property ($500 fine).
•  No fireworks anywhere in the community.
•  All trash goes in the bins inside the enclosure, with the locking bar across the doors secured. Trash left outside draws wildlife and carries a $500 fine.
•  Please leave the furniture, decor, kitchen supplies and games where they are. Moving them leads to extra cleaning fees and/or a fine of $300 or more.
•  No parking on community streets.
•  All guests follow the community rules and are responsible for any community fines during their stay, separate from any host fines.
•  Pets are welcome, so the whole family can come along.
•  By booking, your group accepts all responsibility regarding the lake and agrees to release the Host(s) from any liability.
